CHECKTOR is a public non-profit organization which is commited to elimination of threats for Internet users.
Project CHECKTOR.COM(CHECKing TORrents) is created for scanning data that flows throuth Internet via BitTorrent protocol, detecting harmful files (such as viruses) and reporting to tracking sites for removal of such files.
How does it works
Our server engine travels through sites looking for torrent files. When it finds one, it downloads the data and checks it for viruses with efficient antivirus software. If there is a virus, adware, spyware or any other harmful material, the system sends the notification to server administration for content removal. When the file is scanned and necessary operations finished, the file is deleted.

Our aim is to protect Internet users from a rising number of electronic threats and to provide information about dangerous files transmitted through the web.
